We have an exciting opportunity for a creative and enthusiastic solicitor to join our Legal Office. This permanent position would suit someone with commercial law experience who is looking to develop in an in-house role.
The University Legal Office is a small, professional team which offers an effective and efficient in-house legal and compliance service. We work with all of the Schools and Services across the University to provide an accessible service delivering pragmatic, proactive and responsive advice on a wide range of legal and compliance issues, to help support the University in the delivery of its strategic aims.
The successful candidate will be confident in providing advice and assistance across a diverse portfolio of legal matters. You will have highly developed written and oral skills, and be able to communicate effectively with people at all levels. You will need excellent organisation and time management skills and the ability to manage an independent workload.
You must be a qualified solicitor or equivalent and be able to demonstrate relevant experience.
