Leeds
I am working with a global law firm with stunning offices in Leeds who are looking for an experienced Employment lawyer to join their team.
They are a Top 50 firm with offices worldwide and have a great reputation across the full spectrum of commercial, insurance and public sector work.
The Employment team in particular is highly regarded in Leeds and the firm act for large national and international blue chip and FTSE listed PLC's and Corporations.
The bulk of the work is respondent based advising on both contentious and non-contentious employment law matters from TUPE transfers to disciplinary and grievance matters.
Nationally the team is made up of 5 Partners with another 26 lawyers working out of several UK Offices.
The right candidate will have at least 5 years' PQE and be comfortable carrying a caseload, being a mentor to more junior lawyers and be comfortable networking and building and maintaining client relationships.
The firm is a forward thinking and progressive one, they embrace things like flexible working and many lawyers within the business work from home on a regular basis around client commitments.
There is a competitive salary on offer for the right candidate + a generous benefits package.

Company
QED
An acronym of the latin phrase quod erat demonstrandum which translates as "thus it is demonstrated" or "that which was to be demonstrated". It is most often used as an annotation at the end of a complex mathematical, scientific or philosophical argument to show that the author had proven what he had set out to prove. In recent times it has also been translated as "Quite Easily Done".
As a recruiter you have to network and speak to large amounts of people and lots of law firms to really understand the market and have the connections to match people with opportunity quickly when the time arises. A good recruiter needs to be Quick, Excellent and Dynamic in everything that they do. Allow the team at QED to demonstrate what they can do for your firm or your career.
