The Role

They are seeking a Commercial Litigation Solicitor 7+ years PQE to join their exceptional team in their City of London office as a Partner.

The Commercial Litigation team houses over 25 Lawyers including 5 Partners and a QC working across their offices in London and the South West. The London team are consistently ranked in in the Legal 500 and Chambers Guides to the legal profession.

The team have specialist expertise across arbitration, financial services, regulatory investigations, insurance coverage and insolvency disputes. As a result an ideal candidate would have experience of Commercial and Corporate Litigation across one or more of these areas, this would be a bonus but not essential.

They have an established client base and reputation of working with international corporations, City companies, HNW's and well known household brands.

You will either have an established client base or be a dynamic character with a strong plan to grow a practice to complement their existing expertise. The ability to demonstrate your business development expertise will be an important part of the recruitment process.
The chosen candidate will be responsible for motivating a strong team of Junior lawyers in London and supervising some lawyers in their South West offices. As a result experience of growing and mentoring a team is essential.

This role would suit either a Partner looking for a lateral move or a highly ambitious Senior Associate, Managing Associate or Junior Partner looking to propel their career forwards.

Requirements

• You will be a Commercial Litigation Lawyer 8+ years PQE
• You will have significant experience in either arbitration, financial services, regulatory investigations, insurance coverage and insolvency disputes or a complimentary litigation area.
• An established client base or clear business development history
• Experience of managing and mentoring a Junior team
• A commercial, pro-active and professional approach to work.
• Must be self-motivated, committed to working towards goals with high enthusiasm and career commitment.
• Salary is negotiable, above market rate depending on your level of experience, plus an excellent benefits package
