Job description: We are recruiting for a Family Solicitor to join a Private Practice in Lancashire on a full time, permanent basis.

The firm have been practising in Lancashire for over 125 years and have grown to become one of the leading firms in Pennine Lancashire, by maintaining a strong commitment to traditional values and client care.

Alongside their large private client base they have developed a progressive and successful Legal Aid practice.

The successful candidate will be:

• Acting on behalf of local authorities, dealing with publicly funded family law
• Dealing with care applications, placement applications, EPO's and secure accommodation applications
• Handling a full family caseload to include ancillary relief, complex financial disputes on relationship breakdown, divorce, civil partnership dissolution, co-habitation disputes, pre and post nuptial agreements, co-habitation agreements, TLATA applications, domestic violence and children disputes
• Undertaking own advocacy in the Family Proceedings Court, County Court and High Court
• Dealing with contested hearings, interim hearings and final hearings

Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 DOE

The firm are ideally looking for a qualified Solicitor, however applications from Legal Executives will be considered.
