Locum Planning Lawyer

Locum Planning Solicitor – (£35 – £42 p/h dependent on experience) – East Midlands

Venn Group's specialist legal team are delighted to be recruiting for a Locum Planning Solicitor for a Local authority organisation based in the East Midlands.

The team are looking for someone to carry out the role for an initial period of 2 months, with the possibility of being extended thereafter. This is a full time position, however part-time applicants may be considered.

The successful applicant will be expected to carry out various responsibilities including:

• To manage a wide ranging caseload with a bias towards Planning Law
• To provide Planning Law advice to the council and its officers
• Drafting of s106 agreements, deeds, contracts, notices, order and consents, among other formal agreements
• Assisting the Senior Property, Regeneration and Commercial Solicitor on reviewing processes, including the preparation of checklists and precedents

Ideally the candidate will be 3 years PQE +.
