The opportunity

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced, motivated and talented lawyer to join their diverse and friendly team working as part of their National Fast Track Centre. If you enjoy putting right the wrongdoings caused by others, take pride in delivering a high quality service, thrive in a fast-paced high-performance environment and are seeking a new challenge with a leading law firm, this position is not to be missed.

Their team of lawyers combine their exceptional communication and client care skills with their technical legal expertise when handling high volumes of interesting cases. In terms of experience, they are looking for someone who has previously handled and valued personal injury claims.

You will progress a range of Personal Injury Fast Track Portal claims (including Road Traffic Accident, Employers Liability and Public Liability cases) through to final settlement. Day to day you will be evaluating and making decisions on cases, considering medical evidence, assessing quantum and advising the client and negotiating settlements. You will be responsible for ensuring the swift settlement of cases in the Ministry of Justice (MoJ) portal or litigating cases in Stage 3. In addition to regular support and supervision, you will be given the tools (including robust processes, procedures, systems and ongoing development) to thrive in the role and refine your professional toolkit.

Who are they?

They are a well-established and highly regarded national law firm, made up of experienced and dedicated professionals helping the victims of injury or mistreatment gain compensation. They pride themselves on their stand-out reputation for being a claimant only firm who support Trade Unions and the Labour movement, which means they never work for employers or insurance companies.

They recognise and reward high performance, with competitive salaries and an extensive benefits package including:

• Structured pay scales
• Contributory pension scheme
• Permanent health insurance
• Life assurance
• 23 days annual leave (in addition to bank holidays)
• Employee Assistance Programme
• Enhanced maternity and paternity pay
• Cycle to work scheme
• Organised sports and social club
• Annual travel and parking loans
• Financial assistance for professional development

They believe that attracting talent that reflects the diversity of the communities within which they live and work is a key part of their business, which is why they are an equal opportunities employer.
