Established over 50 years, my client has a really strong client base of both businesses and individuals. They pride themselves on client care and do not take in any high volume fixed fee work. They have traditional values when it comes to client care and do not want this compromised. They have a friendly working culture and offer lots of progression. It is this approach which has led to a 98% staff retention over the last 3 years. The average amount of years of staff service is 16 years - they are the type of firm where once people join they stay at their entire careers. They have a network of offices and are ingrained into the local community with their fee earners having a real level of expertise and knowledge of the market they work.
Due to a high volume of instructions they are now seeking an additional Property Solicitor to work alongside the Head of Residential Property. The Property Department deals with a broad range of work including freehold and leasehold property, remortgaging, purchase and sale and shared ownership. A large proportion of the work they handle relates to leasehold enfranchisement, lease extensions and issues relating to residential tenancies.
The firm are seeking a Enfranchisement Solicitor with at least 2 years PQE. You will have good experience of running your own lease extension/ enfranchisement caseload. You will have lots of support and guidance in the department but will also be given lots of autonomy to go out and meet with clients to make the role your own. Salary is negotiable depending on your level of PQE plus an excellent bonus scheme.
This role will be based in East London close to Wanstead.
