Leicestershire County Council in-house Legal Services has an exciting opportunity for a Planning Lawyer to join its friendly and busy Property & Environment team at County Hall, Glenfield.

The ideal candidate will have experience in working in local government or in private practice and will have a good track record in advising on a variety of planning matters.

Eligible candidates should have qualified as a Solicitor, Barrister or Legal Executive.

The successful candidate will be expected to handle their own caseload of planning matters, in early course, the role will also require the successful candidate to advise on related highways issues but it is not expected that the successful candidate will have gained previous local authority experience in that area.
