Job Details

This award-winning law firm is looking to recruit an non fee earning RTA Solicitor with a current Practising Certificate at their stylish head office in Manchester City Centre.

Day to day you will be responsible for:

  • Dealing with block bookings at local Stage 3 MOJ Hearings
  • Telephone conferences/applications
  • Dealing with Fast Track Trials
  • Drafting of pleadings and court documents including but not limited to Schedule of Loss in low to medium valued Multi Track cases
  • Providing written advice on cases

The successful candidate must have previous experience and have:

  • Excellent working knowledge of the CPR, JC Guidelines etc
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and proven ability to work to deadlines
  • Sound experience of claimant personal injury
  • Would be beneficial to have defendant personal injury experience
  • Attention to detail, excellent organisational skills are paramount
  • Excellent client care skills and management of client expectations
  • Empathetic, compassionate with an even temperament to deal with potentially difficult situations with the ability to think logically
  • IT skills such as WORD / EXCEL / OUTLOOK are essential
