Residential Conveyancing Solicitor

We have an exciting opportunity for a Residential Conveyancing Solicitor to join a professional, accredited team and get to work on some good quality matters. Previous Residential Conveyancing experience is essential for this role and those looking to manage a traditional, non-volume caseload are encouraged to apply.

Our client aims to provide a fast, professional and effective legal service to their clients both locally and nationally and they work with both the business community and individuals across a broad range of specialisms. Our client has a 60 year record of excellent service and is a highly acclaimed choice for the West Yorkshire Area and beyond.

The self-supporting role will be based across offices in both Leeds and Selby with the aim of developing the business for both offices. You will also be expected to hit the ground running with an existing residential conveyancing caseload and be confident managing the caseload from start to finish. You will be the sole fee earner for the 2 offices, however you will receive support from the head of department who is based in a different office where necessary.

The firm works with a number of local clients including estate agents and financial advisers and generates a lot of its business through referrals and returning clients they are therefore looking for someone with excellent communication skills who can build strong and long-lasting relationships with clients.

You must also have excellent time management skills and work well alone as well as part of a supportive and friendly team. Part time hours will also be considered for the right person.

The successful candidate should be at least 2 years' PQE, however, this level of experience has been given as an approximate guide for applicants and our client is happy to consider the applications of candidates who fall outside of this bracket and are able to demonstrate the skills necessary to fulfil this role.
