This extremely successful Top 100 Law firm based in Manchester has a brand new opportunity to join their successful team of EL/PL fee earners.

There is a great opportunity to progress with multiple training contracts being provided to its work force annually.

Although you will be situated in the portal team, you will have a litigator who will mentor you to give you even more experience to help you grow into a strong legal professional.

Not only will you get this unique exposure to litigated files but you will also receive a generous salary of up to £22,000.

What work will you be doing?

  • Dealing with a caseload of fast track EL and PL cases.
  • Dealing with stages 1 (Investigation), 2 (Negotiation) and 3 (Litigation) of the Claims Portal process.
  • Liaising with client and third parties to process claims within the legislative timeframes.
  • Gathering and submitting any medical evidence to support claims.
  • Negotiation of most beneficial settlement where appropriate.
  • Preparing claim evidence for Court proceedings.
  • It would be desirable if you have experience using Proclaim.

Ideally, you'll have at least 1 years' portal experience, but we would consider someone with 6 months plus experience who is adaptable.
