Our client is a leading international law firm with a first-rate reputation for the quality of work provided and has won numerous awards in recognition of the level of service delivered to clients. The well-respected firm is now looking for a talented Solicitor to join the Construction team based in the heart of Leeds. Not only is the firm well regarded but their Construction team is one of the leading teams in the country and top ranked in both Legal 500 and Chambers. This role really will offer someone the opportunity to push their career on due to the quality and volume of work available, and the structure of the team as there are plenty of more junior lawyers to support you as well as allowing you to develop you managerial skills.

What makes this role stand out from others is this size of projects on offer as the team in Leeds deals with both national and international work of the kind that normally gravitates towards London, meaning the successful candidate will have the chance to work on a caseload of the highest quality. Furthermore, it is a really broad based practice, meaning you will get an excellent spread of work across a broad range of sectors, including building, energy, process plant engineering, international contracting, work from the energy sector, and more.

The firm's excellent reputation also lends itself to a truly impressive client base, including both local and national developers, as well as many of the big energy companies in the country. They also act for a good number of international clients and organisations including many from the Far East. Another excellent side to this role is that the firm offers client secondments to employees of all levels, meaning there is the opportunity to gain some real commercial experience.

Due to the nature of the firm, our client is looking for an outgoing solicitor who is truly a team player and is always focussed on delivering the highest standard of work. This is a really high-functioning team, however there is plenty of flexibility the firm frequently offers part time work or flexible working arrangements and the successful applicant will be joining a highly supportive team. They have a highly supportive and collaborative approach which would help any new lawyer settle into the team smoothly.

Our client envisages the successful candidate with 4 or more years' PQE to possess the skills and technical ability relevant for this role. However, this is purely given as a guideline and the firm would be happy to consider candidates who fall outside of this range, yet can demonstrate the necessary experience and enthusiasm for the role.

So if you are looking for a new challenge, or want to work with some of the leading lawyers in this area on some high-quality, high-value matters, why not apply today?
