Job Details

Are you a Clinical Negligence Solicitor looking for a new challenge? Do you want to join the expanding department of a leading firm within this sector? If so, this role could be for you!

While the leading national firm has an already established and successful Clinical Negligence department, it is a relatively new offering out of the Leeds office and so this is a pivotal time for the department as it looks to establish itself in a new market. You would be a key part of this expansion.

Over the past 10 years, the firm has built a practice based on offering the best advice, resulting in repeat business from clients in the public, private and third sector. They are strongly embedded within this sector and have a reputation for excellence.

Joining the team, you will be involved in cases at the forefront of the industry including cases at the High Court and Court of Appeal that have a real impact on case law. You will be working in a friendly and close team environment, both locally and nationally, and will be fully supported in the role. You will also have access to a sophisticated and streamlined case management system that will allow you to focus on providing the very best service to your clients.

You will have plenty of client contact and the chance to get involved in business development, so if this is something you enjoy or wish to become more involved in, then this is a great opportunity. Joining the team at such a crucial stage also means you will have the chance to make a name for yourself in the firm and will be able to work at the level of your skills rather than being within a team that is too heavily structured at the moment. Whilst the work is predominantly defendant clinical negligence there is also some wider work including inquest, and wider health related litigation.

Our client is ideally looking for a Clinical Negligence Solicitor with 3 or more years' PQE who can pick up some cases whilst supporting the lead lawyer on other matters. More important than exact PQE levels, however, is the ability to hit the ground running with a varied and high-value caseload from day one, so if you are slightly less experienced, you are also encouraged to apply.

How to Apply:
Our consultants are experts in legal recruitment, with our strength deriving from the simple fact that we are well-known, well-respected and have developed long-standing bonds with both our clients and candidates. Having been established in the sector for over two decades, we have become an authority on all aspects of legal recruitment, allowing us be the first line of the process for our clients.
