Locum Commercial Contracts Lawyer (East Midlands)

Commercial Contracts Lawyer – up to £40 p/h dependent upon experience – East Midlands

Venn Group's specialist legal team are delighted to be recruiting for a Commercial Contracts Lawyer to join a dynamic Local Authority in the East Midlands. This contract is offered for an initial period of 3 months but there is the possibility for this to be extended.

The ideal candidate will be a Solicitor, Barrister or Legal Executive possessing previous Commercial Contracts experience gained working within Local Government.

Duties may include:

• Providing legal advice on non-contentious Commercial and Procurement law
• Dealing with all aspects of the procurement process
• Researching relevant case law and precedent to provide advice for clients
• Drafting a wide range of contracts and documents
• Monitoring and advising on changes to National and EU legislation
• Providing training where required

An attractive rate of up to £40 per hour is offered (dependant on experience). The client is ideally looking for someone to work on a full-time basis but can be flexible on home working.
