Your new role
A Legal Counsel role reporting to the Head of the legal function, as part of a team of six legal professionals. This position will play a crucial generalist role within the team, and will involve liaising with marketing, communications, sales, publishing and finance teams across the EMEA region. Day-to-day matters include negotiating and reviewing business-critical vendor, service, technology, distribution and platform agreements, while also advising on advertising clearance, marketing strategy and consumer issues. You will also advise on ad hoc data protection and intellectual property matters, integrating yourself thoroughly across the wider business.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be a commercial lawyer with at least 3 years' PQE (as a guide only). While UK experience and unrestricted working rights are a must, candidates can have qualified from other major common law jurisdictions. You will have trained either with a reputable practice firm or with a structured in-house team, with key commercial legal expertise. Experience within a gaming, software or technology business would be a significant advantage. You will be an approachable business advisor who is comfortable managing stakeholders at all levels of a business.
