Private Wealth Equity Partner

A superb opportunity has arisen for a Private Wealth Equity Partner to join a Legal 500, multi-office leading law firm who are respected for their commercial awareness and innovative thinking.

You will be joining an expanding private wealth team who act for a range of clients, including in particular, High Net Worth clients who require advice on complex matters relating to tax planning and dealing with very large estates often involving a range of complex financial and family issues. The firm is Platinum STEP accredited, a quality mark which only a few firms have achieved and all their lawyers are STEP qualified or working towards that qualification.

Responsibilities:

  • You will provide specialist tax and trust advice, as well as extensive experience in estate planning
  • Business development activity is also a key part of the role
Requirements:

  • The complexity of the work and the nature of the client base means that you will ideally have 8+ years pqe in private wealth
  • Be able to demonstrate an impressive billing history
  • Be able to bring with you an substantial following
  • Experience in managing a caseload of HNW and UHNW clients
  • Ability to delegate appropriately and to supervise, is essential
  • Demonstrate an excellent academic record in advance of a training contract with a firm with a similar complex and high net worth client base and experience in that type of firm since qualification
  • Enjoy networking, marketing and business development
