My client is a highly regarded Chambers rated firm based in Nottingham who has a niche Court of Protection team. The firm has very secure work sources coming in which means that there is a vacancy as a result of an increased workload.
 
You will ideally be a qualified Court of Protection Solicitor or Legal Executive with upwards of 3 years' PQE to pick up a caseload of exciting and challenging matters.
 
Much of the work comes across from the firm's high-value catastrophic injuries department, but the firm is also proactive with regards to sourcing work into the department.
 
Dealing with all aspects of Court of Protection work, you will focus on the management of the financial affairs of individuals who lack the mental capacity to make decisions themselves.

On a day to day basis, you can expect to handle deputyship matters, will applications, assessing compensation and advice from all parties, looking at the ongoing needs clients require, making decisions based on those requirements relating to their finances, and ongoing specialist care needs and therapists.
