Assistant Solicitor

It's an exciting time to join Loughborough University: Times and Sunday Times University of the Year. From our 440 acre campus in Leicestershire and our postgraduate London campus on Queen Elizabeth Park, the University is enjoying a time of unprecedent achievement.

Loughborough University’s ambition is to maintain its status as a world leading Higher Education institution, but that doesn’t mean standing still. To support this ambition, the University has created a Legal Services team to provide high quality, pragmatic and focussed commercial legal support.

The successful candidate will work with the University’s external legal support, including Browne Jacobson, who will be working with the University on the recruitment and development of the post holder.

This role would suit a lawyer with up to three years post qualification experience, with a willingness to gain a breadth of experience and a desire to become an integral part of the in-house team. However, applications from qualified lawyers of all experience and backgrounds are welcome.

Loughborough University is a great place to work and you can find out more about the benefits of being part of the Loughborough team here. With generous leave allowance, award winning campus facilities and broad development opportunities, there’s never been a better time to work here.

The position is full time and permanent. Starting salary will be confirmed on offer of appointment, between £30,395 and £39,609 per annum.

For informal enquiries, please contact Sam McGinty, Head of Legal Services by email at s.a.mcginty@lboro.ac.uk or by telephone on 01509 228494.
