Commercial Property Partner

This opportunity is for someone looking to take a leading role in the success of an already highly successful Legal 500 Commercial Property department. The individual will be expected to take on a caseload of existing clients, as well as maintain and develop new relationships.

The Role

The firm are seeking to hire a Commercial Property Partner / Senior Solicitor into their Colchester office.

The Commercial Property department is ranked in the Legal 500 for their work in this area, building an impressive client list. The team is fantastic at building lasting relationships and business development, meaning the firm are busy with work. The caseload will be varied and include: landlord and tenant, buying and selling of commercial property, property finance, developments, acquisitions and disposals. The clients include large national developers, so there will also be an element of development work, both residential and commercial.

The individual will take a leading role in the team, coming in to develop and lead the team to new levels of success. The firm are looking for someone who excels at business development, evolving the team and marketing.

Requirements:

• You will be a Commercial Property Solicitor with at least 4 years PQE (there is no upper limit in terms of PQE)
• You will deal with a high-quality caseload of Commercial Property matters and be involved with the development of the firm
• You should have a good technical knowledge and proven success with business development
• A meticulous eye for detail is essential
• Salary is competitive and negotiable dependent on your level of experience
