Our client is a leading specialist IP business, advising on IP law and litigation, Patents and Trade Marks, and with offices across the UK, and in Europe and China.

They're enjoying significant success with big name clients, and to capitalise on market opportunities they wish to recruit an additional Solicitor from a hard IP background who will have specific patent litigation experience and be keen to focus on this highly specialist work. Working in direct support of a number of recognised experts you'll be handling patent disputes and contentious hard IP matters for regional, national and international businesses.

Suitable applicants will be coming from a national or City firm background or possibly a niche IP firm, but you must be specialising in hard IP disputes as this team does not do general Tech/IT work, and the caseload in this instance is certainly not soft IP. Academic strength is a pre-requisite, and a scientific background would be desirable given the complexity of the work. 2-10yrsPQE will be considered.

All team members are passionate about IP issues and client service, and it will be expected that you will share this enthusiasm and genuine interest in the sector. Relocators will be considered on merit, and whilst Leeds would be the marginally preferred choice of location the firm is quite able to site an experienced lawyer in its London office.

A superb opportunity for an IP Litigator who wants to be working at the highest level with an innovative and engaged brand.

Brooke Thornham Consulting advertisements use PQE levels purely as a guide to the level of experience required for the role and this does not prohibit applications from candidates who are able to demonstrate the necessary skills and experience. We aim to respond to enquiries as soon as possible but if we have not contacted you within 5 days then unfortunately on this occasion your application has not quite met the requirements of our client closely enough.
