A superb opportunity has arisen for a Dispute Resolution Solicitor to join a Legal 500, Lexcel accredited and multi-award winning law firm with more than 100 years of expertise operating in all major practices.

You will be joining a growing dispute resolution team who through sheer determination offer their clients unwavering support and who take control with their clear and high quality advice. You will apply the law in a practical way to give the best outcome for the client and will need to be able to think outside the box rather than having a rigid approach. You will get to the key issues quickly and not get embroiled in unnecessary detail.

Responsibilities:

• As the Dispute Resolution Solicitor, you will deal with the full litigation caseload which will include:-
• Employment
• Breach of Contract
• Consumer Protection
• Neighbour disputes
• Contentious Probate
• Professional Negligence
• Landlord & tenant
• Boundary Disputes
• Debt Collection
• You do not necessarily need to have experience in all matter types but must have the ability to know how to find out what to do
• Understanding of the different funding available, the importance of giving costs estimates and ensuring good financial management of the cases

Requirements:

• You will possess 2 years solid experience in both civil litigation and employment matters
• Good knowledge of civil procedure rules and preferably some experience of the High Court
• Knowledge of enforcement procedures is also required
• Excellent client care skills and good computer/typing skills
• Self-sufficient and work under pressure to tight deadlines
• Work towards achieving set KPIs (financial and matter time targets)
• Promote and develop self, team and the firm
