Overview

Buckinghamshire County Council and Wycombe District Council are jointly recruiting to an exciting range of new legal roles with salaries ranging from £39,232 to £57,409. On 01 November 2018, it was announced by the government that the five councils in Buckinghamshire will become a single unitary authority in April 2020.

A huge transformation programme will build a new Unitary Council that is ambitious in outlook, and will provide Buckinghamshire residents with simpler ways to access services that they need, and makes best use of public money.

Appointment to this role will be made at a grade within the indicated range which reflects the successful candidate's experience. Applicants are invited to submit their CV and a supporting statement. About the role

Property Lawyers (£42,346 - £48,616) (WDC employed, flexible location)

We are looking for lawyers to undertake a range of property matters including acquisitions and disposals, leases and licences, (including landlord and tenant), auction transactions, highways agreements, as well as assisting with section 106 agreements and other property regeneration work. The successful candidates will have an eye for detail, excellent drafting skills and the ability to provide legal advice to a variety of audiences, including senior officers.
