Property Development Lawyer
Our client are one of the largest practices in the area, located in a buzzing and affluent area.
With a management team described as “switched on”, it’s a practice that punches above its weight and is not your typical high street firm with a large number of corporate clients. The business is a general practice providing advice to a broad cross section of the local community. Its influence has spread in recent years to a client base that is now nationwide and in some instances international. Friendly and personable and a strong belief in building lasting relationships with clients.
They now wish to recruit a solicitor to join the Commercial & Residential Development Team. A Lawyer with ambition and gravitas is preferred, together with the ability to build productive relationships with professional work referrers and develop a flow of referrals. You will need to be a good communicator, able to manage, encourage and develop the other members of the team and work closely with Partners and fee earners from other disciplines.
The successful candidate with be involved in all aspects of development and land including acquisition, development and sale of development sites, new build developments, contracts conditional on planning permission, extinguishment and grant of easements, mezzanine finance agreements, overage, clawback and option agreements, S106 agreements and unilateral undertakings, insolvent property transactions, agricultural and commercial land acquisitions and disposals, unregistered land, section 38 Agreements (Road Adoption) and section 106 agreements and unilateral undertakings
In addition to a high salary, my client is also paying a bonus of 25% of fees in excess of three times salary!
