An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Property Litigator to join a Top Tier Legal 500, Top Ranked Chambers UK 2019 and multi-office law firm with multi award-winning accreditations (too many to mention!) who are respected for their commercial awareness and innovative thinking and who pride themselves on their commitment to providing outstanding service to families and businesses over many generations. Their support to charities has seen them raise over £1.25m.

You will be joining a large real estate litigation team in their Contentious Business Unit who have a track record for advising clients on their most complex and difficult disputes and whose client base is a mix of local corporates, rural land owners and high net worth individuals with large portfolios. You will principally provide support to the real estate and agricultural teams and will work alongside specialists in their field where you will learn from the best.

Responsibilities:

• As the Property Litigator, you will undertake high grade and technically challenging work for a range of both well established and new clients
• Undertake commercial portfolio related disputes and estate management matters
• Act for both landlords and tenants, regularly act for residential and commercial developers and will deal with easements, restrictive covenants and Land Registry related issues
• Undertake an agricultural workload

Requirements:

• You will ideally have 1-3 years PQE although all NQs will be considered with the appropriate experience
• You will have an enthusiastic interest in real estate litigation
• You must be able to take a swift, analytical approach to client problems
• Possess solid communication skills
