A leading traditional firm based in Kettering is looking for an experienced fee earner in private client matters. They are ideally looking for a private client solicitor or qualified legal executive with STEP accreditation, or a keenness to gain STEP accreditation shortly. 
 
This particular firm is housed in an historic cottage in Kettering, with a focus on high end private client matters. The firm has recently appointed a partner within the department and are now keen to take on a senior fee earner to assist with their busy and thriving department.

The firm is ideally looking for a local candidate with at least 3 years' PQE / exposure to the drafting of wills and trusts, the administration of estates and trusts, drafting lasting powers of attorney (both types), elderly and vulnerable clients including court of protection work, inheritance tax (including preparation and submission of returns), and income and capital gains tax (including preparation and submission of the returns).
 
The ideal candidate will preferably be a STEP member, or be willing to apply to be a full member and to take whatever steps are necessary to achieve full membership. Previous experience of Solicitors for the Elderly will be an advantage.
