Sellick Partnership are currently recruiting for a Team Leader to join a local authority based in the West Midlands. This position will begin on a 6-9 month basis initially, although there is a possibility of the role being extended beyond that.

The ideal candidate will be a qualified lawyer who has proven managerial experience within a public sector organisation.

Our client is offering flexibility regarding the type of work, and will therefore consider candidates who have knowledge of any or all of the following areas of law: employment, contracts, adults, childcare and planning.

Duties of the successful Team Leader may include, but are not exclusive to:

  • Managing a legal team of 7
  • Contributing to the strategic and operational planning of Legal Services
  • Attending committee meetings on behalf of the authority
  • Supporting the Head of Law as appropriate

Our client will consider candidates who require either part-time or full-time work, and are offering flexibility with home working.
