Residential Property Solicitor

TSR Legal have an exciting opportunity to work with a well-regarded law firm based in Cambridgeshire who are looking for an experienced Residential Property Solicitor to join their team in Chatteris. This firm has a strong commitment to the care of their staff and are well established as one of the largest law firms in the area. This is a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate to join a busy and fast paced Residential Property team.

As a Solicitor based in the residential property team you will need a good customer facing style and be confident in your ability to offer an excellent level of client care to a wide range of clients. You will need a strong working knowledge (ideally 2-4 years’ PQE) of all residential property matters including sales and purchases, re-mortgages, transfers of equity and voluntary registrations.

The firm have a strong reputation for Conveyancing and you will join a friendly, supportive and dynamic team that will have you dealing with high-quality work.

You will be working an existing caseload and so it is important that you are able to build strong working relationships and have excellent communication skills. Other important traits include the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and strong organisational skills. The right candidate will be driven and self-motivated with the ability to perform under pressure and work to deadlines. They will be able to engage with the wider team and confidently build rapport with clients and other employers.

Further desired traits include:

-          Current knowledge of sales and purchases of both freehold and leasehold land

-          Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle a diverse caseload

-          Good organisational skills and ability to work under pressure

-          Ability to work in a team environment and share best practice with others
