Home Visit Solicitor

Open to all candidates of any legal specialism as long as you are legally qualified

A unique opportunity has come up at an expanding Northamptonshire based law who are looking for a solicitor, legal executive or Licensed conveyancer to join the firm as a home visit lawyer.

The successful candidate will be responsible for visiting clients of the firm in their own home to witness signatures on legal documents and take copies of ID and other required documents needed for the progression of clients conveyancing transactions.

This is not a fee earning or advice giving position and so experience of conveyancing is not required, as this will be provided by the office based conveyancing team, but it is essential that you are legally qualified to witness signatures on official documents

This role will entail a significant amount of travel on a daily basis and so it is essential that you enjoy driving. The office based team will schedule appointments with you in the same area on the same day to ensure the journeys to particular areas are efficient as possible for you and the firm in terms of visits per day. The main areas covered would be London, East Anglia, Cambridgeshire and Northamptonshire but the role could take you nationally so you will need to be flexible in terms of where you can travel.

This role would suit someone who is legally qualified, who likes driving and meeting clients but does not want to have the pressure of a caseload and a fee earning type role for whatever reason. You will have a good client facing style and be personable as you will be the face of the firm in peoples home and you will be expected to leave a positive impression on the clients you come into contact with.

If you are Northampton based you will have the benefit of a company car at the office and if you are living elsewhere a fuel allowance will be paid.

This role is a unique one for lawyers who do not wish to continue fee earning and are looking for something different. It would be a nice role for people who enjoy being out and about and meeting people.

Please apply ASAP if this is of interest or get in touch with Greg at QED Legal.

In recent times it has also been translated as "Quite Easily Done".
