An established and modern legal 500 Private Practice with a number of Residential Property teams set up across the South of England. The conveyancing teams have dealt with thousands of transactions in all matters concerning property in particular buying and selling freehold or leasehold property. The New Homes team based at the Portsmouth office have a great deal of knowledge and expertise with commercial relationships established with all of the major UK homebuilders covering the entire South of England region. The firm as an enviable reputation and has attained "highly commended" status in the CQS Awards for Excellence in Conveyancing Practice.

This specialist team have considerable experience in dealing with the demands of developers and recognising the purchaser's unique requirements involved when buying a new home. This expertise has won them the trust and business of a list of clientele in this sector resulting in a strong pipeline of work and they continue to build upon this.

As a Conveyancing Executive you will be expected manage your own caseload of new build purchase transactions. You should be able to competently deal with all of the key legal elements of the purchase and understand all the technical aspects required to ensure a smooth transaction. Ideally you will have at least 1-2 years fee earning experience gained within in a specialist new build team or have general residential property expertise with knowledge of new build transactions, Ideally you will be a professionally qualified CILEx / FCILExCLC / NQ+. You will benefit from an excellent legal support team who carry out much of the file opening, administrative work and post completion work allowing you to use concentrate on not only using your legal knowledge to date but further progress and develop within the team. This particular position forms part of a focused team of conveyancers and sits within the middle tier of expertise. Personal and professional development is positively encouraged with a focus on training and development there is clear structure in place for you to advance your own development at the firm.
