The Role

The firm are seeking to hire a Residential Property Associate or Senior Associate to join their flourishing Bury St Edmunds Office.

You will be working closely with the Partners within the Residential Property department and will play a pivotal role in business development to drive the department forwards and ensure future success, having the full support from heavy hitting regional firm.

They are looking for a motivated Associate or Senior Associate with team leader capability to manage the team of 4 fee earners on a varied caseload, reporting directly to the Partner. This role will be business development focused where you will be encouraged to build on their existing client base on a local and regional level.

You will deal with a broad caseload, including: Buying & Selling, Transfer of Equity, Mortgages and Remortgages and Tenancy agreements, the variety of which will make for an interesting role.

Requirements

• You will be a Residential Property Associate, CILEX or Conveyancer with at least 5 years PQE
• Experience of managing and mentoring more junior colleagues is advantageous
• You should have first-class communication and business development skills
• A transferable Client base or regional contacts is advantageous, but not essential
• Salary is competitive and negotiable depending on your level of PQE, you will also receive an industry leading benefits package
