Defendant EL/PL Paralegal/Legal Executive.
 
Based in York, this highly regarded firm have an exciting opportunity for a Defendant Insurance Paralegal or Legal Executive to join their Public Sector team.

The team provide expert legal services to local authority clients on a broad range of matters from highways claims to subsidence, to social care, stress, and harassment claims.

The role will involve handling a caseload of predominantly litigated small claim and fast track files, whilst also providing support to other fee earners with complex/multi-track claims as required.

Cases managed will range from highways claims to a variety of Employers Liability and Public Liability related matters.
 
The successful candidate will have experience of managing a caseload within a similar insurance based role, ideally on a defendant basis. Whilst highways experience is not essential specifically, applicants must be experienced in managing litigated files. Prior work on a fixed fee basis would be an advantage.
