Talented Business Services Legal Assistant sought for a Lexcel accredited firm in Hertfordshire.

Our client has been actively looking to recruit a driven Business Services Legal Assistant for their busy office in St Albans. The successful candidate will provide administrative and fee earning assistance on a varied caseload of employment and company commercial matters.

• Client service
• Administrative duties
• Assisting solicitor to bill all matters promptly and accurately
• Procedural research tasks
• Dealing with disclosure
• Preparing trial bundles and instructions to counsel
• Drafting PLC documents
• Preparing completion ‘bibles’ on transactional matters
• Drafting board minutes
• Preparing completion documents
• Drafting simple terms and conditions

The Candidate
• Paralegals with a minimum of one year’s experience
• Experience in a commercial area of law is preferable
• Legal qualification such as LLB or GDL/CPE is essential
• Completed Legal Practice Course will be advantageous
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
