Commercial Litigation Solicitor

Litigation Lawyer - A Litigation Lawyer is required to work as part of a Chambers rated disputes team based in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire. The Litigation Lawyer role will involve providing support to a broad range of blue chip corporate and private clients on matters such as commercial recovery, dispute resolution and insolvency requirements using a case management system.

The successful Litigation Lawyer will have:

In depth knowledge of insolvency procedures
Fast and Multi Track cases up to Trial experience
Detailed knowledge of the Civil Procedure Rules
SRA accounting knowledge
Commercial acumen
Good drafting skills
Ability to draft cost schedules
Prepare Part 36 offers
Experience working with Counsel, where necessary, and attending conferences with Counsel.
Possess high level communication skills

The role:

Acting on a full caseload of disputed claims arising from breach of contract, claims based on personal guarantees, supply of goods and services, IT and directors misfeasance claims. Including mediation, adjudication; telephone mediation; interim applications; advocacy and progressing matters to Hearing or Trial. Acting in a supervisory role assisting other lawyers with complex matters.

Credentials:
Previous experience as a Litigation Lawyer, at least 4 years
Full or part qualified as a Solicitor, Legal Executive or be a very experienced Fee Earner

Salary dependent upon experience to £45,000
