Agriculture Solicitor.
 
This prestigious Legal 500 law firm based in Beverley is looking for a solicitor NQ-3 years' PQE to join their successful Agriculture Department. 
 
You will be joining an established team of 3 (2 solicitors and 1 partner) who deal with a wide variety of legal advice solely relating to agricultural property, including:
  • Acquisition and sale of farms and farmland
  • Lettings, licences and contract farming arrangements
  • Renewable energy projects
  • Agricultural tenancy matters
  • Easements/wayleaves/utility and telecommunications leases
  • Property finance
  • Assisting other teams on project-based work for farming clients.
This role would suit legal professionals with commercial property experience who are looking to develop their expertise in agricultural property, along with looking to develop specialist skills within a supportive and established team and firm.
 
The successful agriculture solicitor will have:
  • NQ-3 years' post qualification experience
  • Agricultural experience (desirable but not essential as specialist training is available)
  • Excellent client relationship skills
  • The ability to network and develop business opportunities.
This opportunity is ideally a full-time position, however, solicitors looking for 4 days a week will also be considered. This client will also be interested in seeing solicitors looking to change specialism.
