Job Details

Family Law solicitor required to join a friendly and well established practice with offices in Hartlepool, Peterlee and Durham.

The ideal candidate must be a member of the Law Society's Family Law or Children Law Accreditation Scheme or a Resolution Accredited Specialist. They will have experience dealing with a varied Family Law caseload including Divorce, Ancillary Relief, pre-nuptial agreements, Co-habitation agreements and Civil Partnership dissolutions. Knowledge of care proceedings work and advocacy would be helpful. Experience using a case management system is also desirable, but not a necessity.

The successful candidate will be required to;


  • work as a member of a team of solicitors. Mainly working at our office in Hartlepool.
  • handle a caseload appropriate to legal skills,
  • have relevant specialist experience in family work.
  • be prepared to network to strenghten and retain client base.

    • Person Requirements:

    Previous family law experience essential (some care proceedings experience preferable but not essential).

    Must be a member of the Law Society's Family Law or Children Law Accreditation Scheme or a Resolution Accredited Specialist.

    Working hours:

    Full time position being offered but part time would be considered

    Working hours negotiable
