The Role

The Intellectual Property Group are looking to bring in a specialist in IP Brand work. The team are experts when it comes to trade mark and design filing. The work will be a mix of contentious and noncontentious matters.

The successful hire will need to be a Trade Mark Solicitor or Attorney with an awareness of trade mark and design protection and experience in UK, EUTM and international trade mark, design filing, registry proceedings and portfolio management. You will be adept at providing search and clearance advice to use and/or register new marks at the UK and EUIPO levels.

The roles comes with a lot of responsibility as you will be supervising the trade mark paralegals and administrators as well as supporting the development of other team members.


  • Trade Mark Solicitor or Attorney with at least 2 - 6 years PQE
  • Must possess solid experience in the Firm's core sectors as well as in trade mark prosecution and design filing
  • You will already have experience working in a top tier law firm
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong academics are essential with a minimum 2:1 degree
  • First class communication skills are essential
