Senior Solicitor
The current salary grade for this post is:
£36,876 - £40,760 per annum VAC REF: 33 _19
This post is permanent and politically restricted.
Lancaster City Council’s Legal Services are seeking to appoint a qualified Senior Solicitor.
This role will include drafting complex S106 agreements, advising officers and members on planning issues and generally assisting the Council’s Legal Services department with day to day operational matters, line managing a small team.
You will be part of a supportive team of Lawyers with a passion for excellence in the provision of local government Legal Services. This post is suitable for candidates looking for a longer term career in the public sector.

The hours of work for this position is 37 hours per week, working Monday to Friday and will be based at Lancaster Town Hall. The Council currently operates a Flexible Working Hours Scheme, which applies to this post.
