Our client, a well-known national company based in Suffolk, are seeking a hands-on Legal Counsel/Deputy Company Secretary. He/she will be a qualified solicitor, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
As well as handling a broad range of legal matters, the successful candidate will provide support the Company Secretary - as such, experience of company secretarial work is desirable. The postholder will deal with a wide range of commercial contracts, matters relating to advertising/marketing, support on corporate transactions, litigation matters, data protection issues, and other general legal advice.
He/she will be organised, with strong attention to detail. The successful candidate will be comfortable and confident working independently, and capable of meeting urgent deadlines.
