Rate: Up to £20ph

Description

Long established, legal 500 firm are looking to recruit a residential conveyancing secretary or paralegal to provide cover whilst they recruit on a permanent basis. Commencing immediately this role is very much open ended and there are definite permanent prospects for the right candidate.

Applicants must have a minimum of 1 years’ experience working within a residential conveyancing department and must be able to hit the ground running. The role involves supporting a busy Property team who deal with the full remit of conveyancing matters for clients of all sizes. Duties include, but are not limited to:

Opening and closing files Assisting with exchanging of contracts Assisting with completions and post completion work Liaising with clients in person by the telephone and in writing Preparing and drafting legal documentation Conducting searches Preparing completion statements and bills Preparing SDLT Forms and Land Registry Applications This is a fantastic opportunity to secure a long term role with a highly respected firm.
