We are working with a well-known organisation, based in Hull, who are looking to recruit an Employment Solicitor on a permanent basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for an Employment Solicitor looking to make a move in-house or to further their in-house career.
The role will report into the Director of Legal and typical responsibilities may include;
- Advising and assisting colleagues with the drafting and negotiation of contracts and other agreements relating to employment and human resources;
- Representing the organisation as required at internal hearings and Employment Tribunals;
- Regular revision and updating of the relevant standard procedures, documents and guidance used by the organisation, in particular in terms of employment and human resources generally
While this is an employment role, from time to time there may be a need for the Solicitor to undertake some legal work outside of the employment remit.
