Locum Commercial Contracts Lawyer
Venn Group is currently recruiting for a Locum Commercial Lawyer to join a University based in the East Midlands.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Commercial Lawyer to join the public sector on an Outside IR35 basis. The role will be for an initial term of 3 months, with a possibility of further extension beyond this whilst the organisation recruit on a permanent basis. The role is offered on a full-time basis to start immediately, however, part-time applicants will also be considered.
We are looking for a qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive or Barrister, ideally with previous experience working in a University or higher education institute. However, experience dealing with intellectual property matters within a similar industry, for example a Research institute or Pharmaceutical company, would also be considered.
Duties will include:
- Drafting and negotiating a wide range of commercial contracts relating to intellectual property to include studentships, non-disclosure agreements and collaboration agreements
- Undertaking legal research to draft contracts with new suppliers and collaborators
- Taking action on contract issues and resolving contractual requests
- Reviewing contracts and agreements to clarify all terms and conditions
This rate of pay will range from between £40-45 per hour on a limited company basis (Outside IR35).
