With an established legal team, this growing company have experienced rapid growth over recent years. Based in the South West and commutable from Bristol, Bath, Gloucestershire, and Wiltshire, their legal team are geared towards creativity, innovation and ambition. They are currently looking for a Commercial lawyer to add value to their team.

Your new role
Reporting into the Legal Director, this role offers excellent exposure to senior stakeholders across both Legal and Company Secretary workstreams. In addition to drafting and maintaining legal precedents, you will be supporting and advising the Procurement team and drafting and negotiating a broad range of commercial contracts and agreements. As well as providing the business with ad hoc legal advice as and when needed, you will be identifying and mitigating legal risk and keeping abreast of regulatory and market developments that will impact the business and reviewing and drafting policies and procedures. This is an exciting time to join the business as they go through a period of growth.

What you need to succeed
You will have commercial (contracts) experience and will be 2+PQE. You will enjoy working in a fast-paced and complex business environment, therefore you will have the ability to build relationships and influence individuals at all levels of the organisation. Ideally you will have experience within an in-house legal position or via secondment, and experience of advising on TUPE or GDPR, but this is not crucial. An appetite to learn new skills and the versatility and technical ability to deal with issues outside of your experience and learn quickly on the job is desirable; you will also possess the confidence and gravitas to challenge decisions and actions when required.
