They act for the heart of the maritime industry – insurers, shipbuilders, owners, charterers, salvors, financiers, port authorities and government, and P&I clubs– and clients across the broader trade commodities and energy sector.
The Team recruiting specialises in dispute resolution, with a particular focus on oil & gas, international trading and shipping. Their clients include oil & gas companies, rig, FPSO and vessel owners, and oil, gas, chemicals and soft commodity traders.
The department's standards are high, and to be considered you will have an excellent academic track record and have trained at a leading UK or international law firm.

• Drafts structurally consistent and clear legal documents

• Drafts articles and publications
• An organised and structured approach to tasks to ensure matters are progressed
We are currently seeking an Associate (1-4 PQE) to join our marine litigation team in with prior litigation experience in oil & gas, and/or shipping and/or trade.
Please note that our PQE levels are a guide and all suitable candidates will be considered.
