Housebuilder – Solicitor

My client’s large and well respected Commercial Property team in Bristol are looking for a Solicitor to work within their specialist house builder section of the team.

They are regarded as leading legal advisers to the residential development sector, acting for many of the UK’s largest volume housebuilders as well as for strategic land companies, smaller traditional builders and niche start-up ventures. They have been providing specialist advice to housebuilders for more than 40 years and have an unparalleled experience and understanding of the housebuilding industry.

Working closely with the lead partner who has extensive experience in this area, you will advise their clients on large scale residential development projects, housing and regeneration for leading UK house builders.

This role will develop your technical and client management skills with access to challenging and complex work, working alongside their highly respected senior practitioners. As an expanding team and an ever increasing sector, there are real opportunities for career development as you gain expertise and build your wider skill set.

The firm will support and encourage you to get involved in business development activities and become embedded into their client sectors.

It is an integral part of this role that you comply with information security and all firm policies and procedures.

About you:

This is a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate to progress their career and enjoy a challenge within a large and continually growing, fast paced team.

If you are a qualified solicitor, with around 2 or more years of post-qualification experience gained with a leading property practice, we would very much like to hear from you.

You will be able to demonstrate a strong intellect, evidenced with a high level of academic achievement, and be someone who shows initiative, drive, and excellent organisation skills.

We expect you to be a genuine team player and a great communicator, who enjoys helping and working alongside others. You will be eager to learn, develop and hone your skills to take advantage of the opportunities for career development within this team.
