Compliance and Regulatory Lawyer
This law firm is a is a multinational law firm headquartered in the UK with over 20 offices throughout the world. Ranked highly for their Innovation in law they are a really modern, forward thinking law firm. With a really good profile within commercial sectors and a client list from FTSE 100 companies to smaller niche organisations. Their London offering is full service and right in the middle of central London easily accessible from the local tube station or London Bridge Train Station.
The client has just started looking for an individual to join their regulatory and compliance team based in central London with a focus on the FMCG market.
A real leader within Regulatory and Compliance, their team are highly ranked within the Legal 500 for Health and Safety and the two particular partners who lead the FMCG practice are extremely well regarded and true team players. They don't keep the best projects to themselves, they work with their associates and solicitors as one. This team of ten offers really good support and development for a junior lawyer. Their size also means they are constantly working with household names in food, consumer goods and medical devices; as well as e-commerce and market entrants looking for advise on how to bring their new market to product. This is on a national and international basis.
The work centres around regulation and compliance to EU and UK standards, with only around 30% of the workload involving litigation. The successful candidate will have dexterity to deal with a varied workload and client base and not be afraid to have client interaction where they offer consultative and commercial advice that allows the client to achieve their aim (Where possible). The individual that gets this role will have gained experience working within the regulatory and compliance space. It is likely the successful candidate will have between 1PQE to 5PQE. You may have worked within FMCG or on an international level previously, but you also may not have. Candidates with transferable skills are also being considered and encouraged to apply.
