It currently comprises 32 members of staff (FTE).  Many members of staff are professionally qualified and the School has strong links with the legal profession and with the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators.

Portsmouth Law School is an established provider of undergraduate and postgraduate law degrees and has a growing reputation for the breadth of its clinical legal education and innovation in learning and teaching. 

The School is seeking to appoint a part-time (0.6 FTE) Teaching Fellow.  Candidates should be able to contribute to the teaching of CILEx Level 6 modules in Conveyancing, Civil Litigation and Client Care. The successful candidate may also be asked to support our clinical legal education projects and will also demonstrate the ability to contribute to the teaching of at least one of the taught Law modules.

Applications are welcomed from experienced practitioners who either hold a practising certificate, or who do not hold a current practising certificate but who can demonstrate that they are able to renew their practising certificate upon appointment.

The School would welcome applications from those who have either a Masters degree or professional qualifications. You will have drive and a commitment to excellence in learning and teaching.  Support to develop teaching skills is available for less experienced staff.
