Senior Associate/Partner – Social Housing
My client are looking for a skilled Social Housing Development lawyer to join their fast growing Cardiff office. The Social Housing team pulls-together specialists from across the firm with particular expertise in this sector.
They offer a full service for social housing clients by delivering seamless, sector-focussed advice across a wide range of legal areas, including corporate and commercial, planning and environment, procurement, development, construction, commercial property, finance, charging, sales, governance, renewable energy, housing and asset management, employment and HR, debt recovery, and property and commercial litigation.
My client’s Social Housing team and Social Housing Finance team are ranked in the national tables by the Chambers and Legal 500 directories. My Client’s Development team has extensive experience of advising on large scale development and regeneration projects in the social housing sector, including site acquisition, joint venture, strategic land and collaboration agreements, options, conditional purchase agreements and disposal. They are experienced in disposals of both vacant and tenanted stock and stock rationalisation.
They are able to provide a seamless, end-to-end service to our clients, regularly working with the Employment team (on TUPE), Housing Management team (on consultation), Charging team (on discharging sale units and bought units) and Volume Sales team (on disposal of shared ownership units) in order to help clients deliver their development program.
About you: I am keen to hear from experienced property development and Social Housing lawyers to join the Cardiff office to spearhead social housing development for them in South Wales.
You will have delivered development services project transactions on time and on budget, advising on all aspects of land acquisitions, site assembly and stock rationalisation. You will have a track record of working collegiately and successfully within the social housing sector.
You will need to be confident as a business developer and have an exceptional track record in developing and maintaining strong and long lasting client relationships. This should be evidenced by a following, but a strong track record of business growth which can be directly attributed to you may also be considered.
