Deputy Company Secretary - Gloucester - Parking on site - Agile Working

Your new company
As Deputy Company Secretary you will enjoy a key strategic leadership position responsible for ensuring the highest standards of Governance and Business Assurance. You will ensure oversight for the smooth and efficient administration of the Board, facilitating induction and assisting with professional development as required. You be responsible for advising the board on all governance matters and monitor compliance with regulatory and legislative requirements.

Your new role
Reporting in to the Chief Executive, you will also be responsible for research and policy formulation and management; taking responsibility for compliance to BSI; ISO 9001:2015 standard. You will provide a lead role in driving service improvement to maximise resources, efficiency and effectiveness throughout the organisation. As you will be an active member of the Senior Leadership Team, you will need to have strong communication skills and enjoy working with stakeholders at all levels of the business. You will have line management responsibility for a Data Protection & Compliance Officer.

About you
You will have experience of working at an executive / senior level advising leadership and Board members on corporate and legal affairs and extensive experience of supporting and advising Board and Committees. You will have solid Governance / Company Secretary experience preferably gained within a professional or regulatory environment and experience of leading, managing and developing others. You will ideally be ICSA qualified and/or a qualified solicitor.
