Within the Complex Fraud Fee Earner role you will be expected to investigate and handle a caseload of potentially fraudulent or exaggerated insurance claims. The position escapes the mundane through their highly varied claims, ranging from a minimal whiplash appeal to a considerable 200k hire case. You will not be expected to handle complex claims from the outset, however to excel within this department, a minimum of 12 months' experience handling complex Insurance Fraud files as a Paralegal or Chartered Legal Executive is required.
General duties within this role involve:
- Building relationships with a variety of clients
- To comply with litigation dates, SLAs and DPA/GDPs so time managing skills are very important
- To handle a full caseload of non-delegated authority litigated cases and also pre-litigated DA cases.
The ideal candidate will have experience defending LSI and late notification claims. You will have strong communication and organisational skills with a high degree of ambition and analytical skills. An inherent ability to be flexible and dynamic is also desirable, as this is a fast-paced, deadline-driven team. There are excellent opportunities for career development.
