Commercial Property Solicitor

Our client, a well-known local authority based in Hampshire, are looking to recruit a Principal Commercial Property Solicitor to assist with a busy caseload, on an initial three-month basis with the view to extend.

This role will require the candidate to possess a solid background in commercial property transactional matters and must be ready to hit the ground running. In addition to handling a stimulating caseload they will play a key role in developing the department through business development and networking.

The day to day duties of this position involves:

• Handling development agreements
• Commercial leases and licenses as well as grants
• Aspects of landlord and tenant laws and agreements
• Dealing with compulsory purchase orders
• Providing advice to the council on all property matters

The Council are looking to telephone interview and can offer a competitive hourly rate and remote working. There is also the opportunity to be taken on permanently.

The council offers a competitive hourly rate with the potential for remote and flexible working arrangements to the successful candidate. The Council are open to candidates from both a public and private sector background.
